Don't Fall Again - Check It Out!

One-Third of people over 65 have a fall at least once a year.  You are at a higher risk of falling if you've fallen before.

  1. Find out why you fell.  Tell your health care provider if you fall.  A fall could be a sign something is wrong with you.

  2. If you fall, make sure you are not injured before getting up or letting others help you up.

  3. Don't let the fear of falling again stop you from being active.  Inactivity puts you at a higher risk of falling.
